Hi Wayne,
Yes, G Edward Griffin inspired me with the talk - An Idea Whose Time Has Come. Look for it online and listen to it all.
- buy local and take note from Haitian farmers, who burned the GMO seeds that Monsanto forced upon them. The Haitian farmers know where the seeds belong.
good to hear from you,
ksd

Great work keeping the listeners of WBAI informed about the spraying and the related industries. I have read most of Mr. Griffin's books and have been amazed at his level of knowledge and his ability to make difficult and controversial topics easy to understand. I hope this new production is a great success in getting more people involved.
Monsanto is a huge multinational corporation with the simple goal of controlling food production in the entire world. Look for the documentary "The Future of Food" to see what small farmers and environmentalists think of Monsanto. A company executive has been quoted as saying " It does not matter who is in the White House, Monsanto will control food production in the United States". Company management (and the lawyers that feed off of them) have bribed and manipulated most of the governments of the world to allow the spread of their genetically modified seeds. Their goal is to make a world where ONLY their GMO seeds can be used. Imagine every farmer in the world waiting for Monsanto seeds to be delivered before they can plant their crops. Before they can produce food for their family and their community. Imagine the power to withhold seeds and therefore withhold the ability of a region to feed itself. This is way too much power for a corporation to control worldwide.
Remember the saying" If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, if you teach him to fish you feed him for a lifetime". If companies like Monsanto actually cared about humanity and the ability of people to feed themselves, they would teach farmers to become self sustaining and more productive. Forcing their GMO seeds on the world is only meant to control the population. They may "feed us for a day" but each year the farmer is dependent on the corporation to sustain his family and his business.

Summer is approaching and fresh local produce will soon be available. Try to buy locally produced organic food when possible. Find a farmers market or food co-op using the website www.localharvest.org. In a small way everyone can fight against companies like Monsanto. Use your wallet to purchase food from sustainable organic farms. Support people who care about our planet and work to keep it healthy and productive.
