Dear Skywatchers,

This week we run speeches from several geophysicists who have developed ways to cool the planet. This was initially a private meeting assembled at NASA-Ames in San Jose, California. As explained in the Climate Engineers documentary, Ken Caldeira, a professor at Stanford’s Carnegie Institution Dept of Global Ecology begins the meeting with a general outline of planetary intervention schemes that will be presented. Politics included.

The next speaker is Gregory Benford, professor of physics at the University of California, Irvine. Benford is also a science fiction writer. He suggests spraying aerosol reflective shields of powdered diamateous earth, over the North Pole.

I was hoping they were spraying crushed diatoms in this picture (above) over New York a couple days ago. Next David Criswell from the University of Houston suggests we harvest the solar energy (13 terrawatts) that hits the moon. Build two collector bases on the moon and beam them back to “rectennas” on the Earth.

Professor David Keith from the University of Calgary examines large scale climate manipulation concepts. From aerosol programs to giant mirrors floating in orbit.

Afterward, Nobel Prize winner Tom Schelling delivers an interesting speech on why large scale climate manipulation is something to consider. Schelling is an American economist and professor of foreign affairs, national security, nuclear strategy, and arms control at the School of Public Policy at University of Maryland College Park.

Lots of questions skywatchers, every scientist I spoke with said they didn’t know about the global aerosol program or repeated the mantra, the government can’t keep a secret. Is this compartmentalization or lies or both?

Anyway, another looming issue they addressed at the meeting is the need to cooperate with other superpowers in attempting large scale climate engineering. Yet it’s already happening. An aching cognitive dissonance.

On that day last November, there were X’s and an iridescent blanket across San Jose. All Rosalind and I had to do was look up. Billions are spent to send up thousands of planes daily to spray these powdered substances around the world.

HOLD IT!!!! Skywatcher Meeting

Sunday, August 12th, 2007 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

On this suspicious occasion of AirshipAl’s 1 year of viewing persistent contrails, New York Skywatchers are invited to gather for an exchange of comradeship and information. Do you have any special skill sets that will enhance our efforts?

We will be meeting at the south end of the pool (facing the Queens Museum of Art) that surrounds the Unisphere located at the Flushing-Meadows/Corona Park.
